Self-check: write the hand-off message

Your brief

In Build it you gave your agent a fallback for the questions it cannot answer, and in Ship it your manager graded whether the hand-off had a clear trigger, message and owner. This lesson is about the message itself: the two or three sentences a customer actually reads when your agent runs out of playbook.

Write that message for your Sales assistant. A customer has just asked something the Sales playbook does not cover, and the agent has to say so and bring in a person.

What to submit

  • The hand-off message, in your company's voice, as you would paste it into the agent's fallback

How this one is graded

Nobody reviews it. Send your message, read ours beside it, and confirm that you have compared the two; confirming is what completes the lesson. Then paste whichever message you would rather a customer met into your agent, where it belongs.
